The average Port Town Co. wedding budget begins at $75,000, with most clients spending $15,000 on our planning services.
Partial planning and Month-of services are available upon request.
We begin planning weddings 12 to 18 months in advance.
The Golden MethodWe call it the Golden Method for a reason. Our tried-and-true concierge planning process takes you from imagining your dream wedding to experiencing it.
Step One: The Introduction
The moment you inquire, we schedule an introductory call where you can share your vision and get to know us. We’ll ask you questions to get to the heart of your event, taking note of your personalities, traditions, and desires. We will also discuss the range for the investment and determine whether we are the best team to bring your vision to life.
Step Two: Aligning on Your Vision
After our call, we will build a vision board based on what you’ve shared. This allows you to imagine what your event will look like, and it is often when we see our clients start getting excited for their wedding! If the vision board aligns with your goal, we request a calendar hold to secure your date as we begin building an all-inclusive proposal customized to your needs.
The calendar hold will show as fully credited to your forthcoming proposal.
Step Three: Your Comprehensive Proposal
Our comprehensive proposal process is truly what sets us apart. We assemble a team of carefully vetted partners who share our standard for perfection, ensuring an effortless experience. In the proposal, you’ll find every design element and associated vendor clearly outlined with their respective investments. Once the proposal is sent, we kindly request feedback within 48 hours. This proposal includes everything required to make your wedding vision come to life.
For events being planned within six to 18 months, a 50% deposit is required at signing. For events being planned within 90 days, full payment is due at signing.
Step Four: Monthly Check-Ins
The moment your proposal and contract are signed, we begin building your one-of-a-kind event! We will schedule monthly meetings to maintain clear communication throughout the entire planning process. We discuss our fool-proof planning strategy, answer all of your questions, and happily discuss any changes, challenges, or new ideas that arise. You also get unlimited access to a personal liaison who is available to answer any questions that come up between our scheduled meetings.
As your wedding day draws closer, we will easily tackle the inevitable last-minute changes. At the 90-day mark, we require a percentage payment, and at 30 days, we need a guaranteed guest count. We also finalize all decisions and secure any outstanding payments.
Step Five: Your Wedding Day
When you close your eyes the night before your wedding, you’ll open them to an enchanted world. While you’re getting dressed, we’re creating magic. The Port Town Collective team and our partners handle setting up at your venue, fully executing your event, and managing every detail throughout the day. And while you drive off into forever, we take care of vendor payments, rental returns, and the clean-up process. Everything is handled for you so you can be fully present, immersed in the magic of your wedding day.

Couples typically spend about 150-300 hours working with PTC over the course of their engagement, depending on the level of service they choose. For full-service planning, this time includes meetings, venue visits, vendor coordination, and phone calls and emails with us. For partial planning or month-of coordination, the time commitment is usually less, ranging from 50-100 hours.

Wedding planning fees are typically 20% of the total wedding budget. Our packages begin at $2,500, but our proposals are completely custom, designed for your specific vision. While we cannot provide estimates until we connect with vendors and confirm supply lists, we are happy to discuss whether we think your budget will cover the wedding you are picturing. For specific pricing, we will need to build your custom proposal.

We strive to accommodate most budget sizes. We offer customizable packages and flexible pricing to ensure you get the best value for your money. We even help prioritize your expenses, find cost-effective solutions, and create beautiful designs that reflect your vision without compromising quality. We often use items from our own (extensive) inventory to help subsidize costs.
